What chester have been told regarding x1 is,
Same route from chester to ellesmere port as x8 does,
Ellesmere port to Eastham as the 2 does
Then from Eastham to liverpool as the x8

But the x1 will stop at All stops

The Port Train Station is/was funded by Section 106 funding from when Marks and Spencers was built on the Oaks. The 7 will not divert as it has no time as it is and secondly the funding would not be valid on the 7.

There must be money somewhere or Avon wouldn't have been running the 88 so often. Avon were known for chop and changing their routes but the 88 was one which was kept the same since the 22 first diverted. It's probably also worth noting Merseytravel clearly saw the demand for them to extend the 82 to Greasby via Irby.

Also, remember back when the X22 ran, the 38 was extended from West Kirby to Heswall with timings linked so people could use the onward connection. This wouldn't be as do-able now with the length of the current 38.
Not sure if this will match other members opinions but if its not an express limited stop route, its absolutely pointless running it.

They might as well just scrap the route completely and just keep the X8 running as it has since its introduction.
Exactly, the x1 will be pointless,

Another is apparently the 41a and 41b are to be scrapped, it will just stay 41/42, no more arrowe park or Preston hall road
I can't see it anywhere else in the thread, but all 38s are to be rerouted via Sandbrook Estate, giving it a bus in each direction every 30mins Mon to Sat.
