Although we need to hang fire on these fleetnumbers as they may be wrong.....'10826' apparently should be 10811, a case of wait and see!

They left sometime last week.
SM66VAO is the only one I've seen a picture of so far and that sports 10826.

One of the Stagecoach drivers took a little picture of mmcs Enviro400 and fleet number 10831 on it
I travelled on the X8 today from Liverpool to Chester. I had to alight at Love Street which the driver informed me was the terminus.
I have two questions - first does the X8 start its return journey from the same place and second will the X8 move to the new bus station whenever it is opened?

It is possible the X8 will move to the new bus station as love street for drop offs is only temporary while the realm works on Frodsham street take place but who knows we will find out in just over a month or so, that's if it's finished by then

It will be interesting to see what they do. Intuitively, it feels as though if the fleet numbers on the buses don't match the fleet numbers on the computer system, then it would be a good deal easier to change the latter than the former. I guess it depends to some extent on the organisational culture - whether it's the "S.E.P." style ("not our problem, get back up your stepladders and change them"), or the "One Team" ethos of finding the optimum solution that minimises overall effort.
Looking for examples to help guess at which scenario is more likely, I notice that Hastings's 10721 (SN66 VXL) and Hull's 10743 (SN66 VWL) would appear to have originally been intended the opposite way around - so presumably the system is not totally inflexible to initial number assignments changing.
10831 is on the X8. Just seen arriving into Chester.
28547 is on the 472 just leaving Liverpool now!
