Im not sure which of the local free papers here on the wirral that ran an article on this freebus in New Brighton , could become even more important if the charging for parking in New brighton happens in the future.

14166 started off this years 15 service. Fairly busy in the afternoon, had a nearly full upper deck at one point. Managed well up the hill with no hiccups all day. Great bus.
Scania YN04 GNU (28545) is out on 41A/42 circuit tonight.
The other day, I saw an advert on the bus suggesting that weekly tickets were to be issued on smart cards from early August. However, I've not seen any other indication of this happening & there's nothing on the website.
Does anyone know if this is likely to happen any time soon?
