The one thing ive noticed about these volvos is that unlike the newer eclipses at chester and the solars these have luggage racks. they have lost id say 5 seats on that nearside. id rather have a solar or YJ09 eclipse than these to be honest. Chester have YK53GXM in stagecoach livery. just thought id post this.
A bit more than 5 seats! Those with racks are B35F, normal B7RLEs are B43/44F!
A quality paint finish. From what can be seen in the photos of 16964, it still retains its lilac grab rails. A give-away sign of former FirstGroup ownership. Standard First information stickers can be seen here too under the staircase. Again, clear evidence of its former owner, despite the huge beach-ball on the glass of the staircase. Seen below:

As Stagecoach are keeping this batch of B9TL's, would it not make sense to eradicate completely all evidence of FirstGroup first time around? Judging by the comments of the photograph author, all this will remain in situ and return to active service.
I dont know if this has been reported but I have just seen a stagecoach liveried plaxton bodied coach on the backford dip. It is the learner coach. Couldn't get Id for it im afraid
Does anybody know if the gemini's are too be transfered to chester? I noticed today that YJ04 FZC has "Stagecoach in Chester" on its legals, where as i seen S107 TNB with "Stagecoach in Wirral" on its legals

Now that is interesting, could be transferred to Chester, could be getting two geminis to replace the palatines. You never know.
Maybe they didn't have enough Stagecoach in Wirral decals and put Stagecoach in Chester decal on instead.
Where are these geminis that rf were supposed to be getting months ago along with the mx05 eclipses for Chester.
Rock Ferry aren't getting any Geminis.
Eclipses 21235/6 should have moved over from Wigan.
Looks like the new ticket machines will arrive as from 25 March. There are notices on some buses advising of changes to the Cheshire Travelcard scheme from that date which suggest that certain existing features of the cars won't be continued - such as the 10% reduction on fares currently available.
