How temporary can a route alteration be before it becomes the normal.
I only say this because this still appears on the Stagecoach Merseyside website with regards to the service 91

Due to current access issues through Rose Mount and turning into Village Road, Oxton, service 91 is currently being diverted until further notice.
Just seen a photo of 15743 now in Crosvile livery, I must say she does look smart now, was heard by early next week should be facing the road.
Chester depot Enviro200 MMC 26051 is now painted into local livery by Blackburn Bus & Coach World she is out on the PR2.
So the Chester to Runcorn 2 service was saved, including the one early evening X30 trip run by Stagecoach.
The changes to the 51 and 53 seem a little odd to me, but anyway I guess it will mostly just be a case of switching which of the two to catch.

It's an attempt to get rid of the 51. There isn't the demand around Dicksons Drive to cover a standalone route half hourly, everyone knows that. Even if there was the demand, it wouldn't pay as it's a pass heavy area. A very strange outcome though which has happened now with these changes is Whealstone Lane now has 5 buses per hour into Chester which is a huge increase (and one which won't be taken advantage of but it's there nevertheless)
The 51/53 changes are very negative for Kingsway (which interestingly, is a good bus area with plenty of paying passengers and normally fairly loaded buses). Anyone alighting in Kingsway now has to do a full tour of Plas Newton which isn't very good at all. Time will tell if it's good or if Kingsway patronage drops off as people don't fancy doing a full tour of the local area before alighting.
Dennis Trident Open top 17502 has now been repainted in to Local Livery.
MMC`s 10883, 10886 and 10887 have been used on the first three days of the Liverpool Hope Uni service, this due to go to two buses required from October.
May I ask on what's happened to 19168? I haven't seen that bus for months whenever I've been out and about.

It does get used. It’s the spare tour bus so if a Gemini is broke or needs work, 19168 will come out on tours
