Yeah I drove past that way earlier to check: 4.1m is the height of that bridge.
Think that was a hinderance in the early years to Merseybus ever going for the 186 tender as at that point they was a double deck orientated fleet .
Over the years most fleets have gone predominately single deck , be it First , Stagecoach and Arriva.
