Yeah, I'm sure they'll have at least two for the 2A school runs, working onto and off 2s.
But you probably won't get them on the 6/6A route from 20th January, unless there are vehicles needing repairs etc.
Noticed the new routes don’t run via Regent Street - is another service getting rerouted to cover this section? Perhaps the 23?

There is a change to the 23's route and timetable on the same day, so could well be.
A friend of mine at Chester Depot said they got 2 buses on the 1/X1 like Chester used to have with the 1/2 years ago, supposedly 2 of there current Scania's will be used and if unavailable be substituted for a E200MMC
