Saving paper by the looks of it
Merseytravel though can only go on the information given to them in this respect by Arriva

Have to say I would be in favour of that if they could find a better way to do it ... the Merseytravel timetable booklets (or should I say books?) are just unnecessarily huge.

Seems like the timetable for the 6's/7's is inaccessible -- it looks like a hyperlink but actually isn't.

Just tried it and does seem to be working fine now Valandil.

There is a different problem now though! The Merseytravel timetable says that there is no change to the 7's, but Arriva's timetables show the last two inbound journeys on the 7(E) being withdrawn, as mentioned by another user earlier in this thread.
