187 (Liverpool South Parkway - Childwall circular)
The service is now operated for Merseytravel by Eazibus.

Monday to Saturday morning buses are now operated for Merseytravel by Warrington Coachways.

With the above changes, route 187 is currently operated by HTL Buses on an emergency contract and 196 AM by Stagecoach Merseyside (assumedly on an emergency contract too, given it has only been running it for less than a year!)

I wonder then if the 196 is going back being linked in the schools contracts as previous operators have done when operating these journeys (including Hattons, Red Kite & Strawberry)

SLT still hold the school contract that the 196 was linked to so I should think it'll remain seperate. Wouldn't surprise me to see Warrington Coachways use it to run a Primo in for their 157s at the Rainford end.

The 196 is for 8 years this time, only by itself. Also the 187 is too.

Still looking for the new timetables for the 35/35A and 37 in the St Helens area which are due to change on 17th March (same date as the 329 which has been up for a quite a while).

Dont know why they arent up as far as i know the only change isthe routes around St Helens town centre, no changes to times.

Thought they might only be minor changes as VOSA only mentioned alterations to stopping places and timetable, not route. Thanks for that mr t.
