The 41/42 and the 145 and 146 will operate in different areas in the Croft Business and Retail Parks , to be honest neither of them overlap , Merseytravel are keeping there side of the bargain by operating socially necessary services allowing people to get to work , which is basically what the 145/6 is , the 41 and 42 is just reaching an objective that First seemed not to want to operate to which was the Croft Retail Park.

I applaud Stagecoach for there vision of making Croft Retail Park a big traffic objective firstly with the 38 and now with the 41/42 , something that has been missing since the Merseybus crosville bus wars , dont forget the 41 and 41A of Crosville called into a turning circle next to the ASDA.

But I wonder if this will try and make the 145/6 stop traveling through there and avoid the retail park

The 145 and 146 dont call into the Croft retail park , they literally skirt right round it but never enter it , the only service other than stagecoach's 38 is the Avon service 84/85/86. The only reason the 87 doesnt call because the time used for the diversion into the retail park is eaten into by the extension to Eastham Ferry on sundays.

The 145/6 do go into the Croft Retail Park in Bromborough...I drive them I should know lol

they go via Stadium Road, Link Road, Welton Road, Caldbeck Road, Stadium Road so serve the front of the Cinama and the side of the ASDA in both directions

In cases such as this where the tender operator is different to the daytime commercial operator isn`t there a case to allow tickets of the daytime operator to be valid on the merseytravel service
