Given the 61 has increased running time and only operates every 12 minutes, on 3 occaions this week alone, I have seen 2 right behind each other!! What on earth has happenned to this service !

As a regular user of the 61, sometimes it can be a bit like that at certain times, Aigburth bound, the bridge at orrell park can sometimes cause this sort of thing, going the other way Long Lane can get very heavy with long queues of traffic and this also causes the same thing.

Wirral changes from 19th/26th August 2013:

Avon 18
Times are changed, Saturday services no longer serve Tarran Way Ind. Estate, and will now serve Town Meadow Lane

Avon 22/25
Buses come 10 minutes later

Stagecoach 38
Re-routed in New Ferry

No changes to the 38 then as it currently turns around at Boundary Road and starts and finished by the little grassy area

Its being formalised by the sounds of it as the previous service was booked to start and finish in Bebington Road not Boundary Rd .

With regards the 22/25 timetable the changes to the services is probably to enable the service to operate more reliably at the back half of the day when services could be delayed coming into Chester through the Fountains Roundabout 'Chester's Free Car Wash' and associated Gyratory. Like most major cities its a bit hit and miss traffic wise.
