Just been told Merseytravel will put published 1/2, 471/2 times up between tommorow and friday
But Travel Line Merseyside website has the 2 listed but the times are not all there yet

Very interesting. At first glance looks good at every 10 minutes Chester to Liverpool during the day but at over one and a half hours it is quite a bit slower than the current 401. Probably quickest to get the X2 from Chester and change at Ellesmere Port. I usually only travel the whole way so a bit of planning will be neccessary. Look forward to it!!
I have noticed how Arriva are only doing Mon-Sat daytimes on the Liverpool - Chester corridor but appear to be running the Evening Heswall corridor on their own.
I love the 'key' for the timetable...

Quote:Codes used on this page:
ARRIVA - means this bus is run by Arriva
FIRST - means this bus is run by First
Stating the obvious lol
You know that they have to be politically correct these days .
Big mistake Merseytravel, I'll definitely be avoiding the 1/2 if I want to go to Chester in a hurry. I'll get the train or bus from Runcorn. The 401 was a faster alternative to the 1 when trying to get to Chester, once again I think Arriva have shot themselves in the foot with regards to these QBPs (I say once again as the QBP on the 86 actually led to a service reduction with regards to what Arriva operated did it not?
