New route 204 (Liverpool ONE - Belle Vale) timetable is up:

What's changed: Route out of/into the city centre is changed with the service now operating via Park Lane and Jamaica Street rather than Wapping.

Merseytravel timetables rarely show the route out of boundary.

To be honest with you, it's quite easy. I did this little map showing the new route.

looking at both timetables they do look rather indentical , are we missing something though ?

I’ve scanned the timetable so many times, I cannot see a single difference. The route and the times are indentical! Also Christmas Eve is an odd date for a service change.

On the topic of the 73, with a 3 minute layover time, perhaps they could squeeze a King’s Lane/Town Lane diversion in there somehow. Also, if additional funding becomes available in the near future to increase the PVR to 2 buses, I would suggest after serving Poulton Lancelyn, buses then run via Clatterbridge, Raby Village and Thornton Hough back to Heswall, and maybe a ‘73A’ in the opposite direction, as Brimstage, Thornton Hough and Raby are now without a link to Heswall. I’ve looked at this and it can be just about done in an hour.
I was thinking a trip down Town Lane right onto Old Chester Rd , right onto Bebington Road and into Bebington Village may be a better option as it would also service Bebington Station with a service for Pulton Royd as well , unfortunately i cant see a service being able to run via both Town Lane and kings Lane though .

That would be a good idea. It doesn’t really need to serve Teehey Lane and Heath Road, there’s already 16/17 (16A for Teehey Lane also), 464 and 487.
New timetables have already been put up at some bus stops[the West Kirby stop has the 80/82 & 407 times up] with starts from 20th January disclaimer

Proposed new 106/107 Wallasey Circulars. I like the look of it, nice simple
Timetable, both run every 90 minutes, but it’s hardly an adequate replacement for Poulton/Breck Road which had 4 buses an hour to and from Birkenhead, last bus is at about 6pm too
More Liverpool ones are now up - 7, /8/9, 10, 26/27, 47, 52, 53, 54, 55, 60, 61 78, 79, X1 plus 135/159
