We are still waiting on the changes to the 30 and 17 in the St Helens Area. According to the VOSA registration, a 37 has been added into the contract but what's not known at present is if this is a full Evening/Sunday service or just a few extra early evening journeys.
As far as I know the 37 is just a Sunday day time service to give the 17 buses something to do instead of the hour off they have every trip at present.

Thanks CX06. Obviously just running before the evening 30 starts although can't understand why the Sunday daytime 17's weren't retimed so just one bus could be used (as was previously the case before September 2016) but this is at least putting the second vehicle to good use for half an hour.
I was told that initially HTL were going to run the 30s of a Sunday daytime but Arriva decided to run them hence the hour gap on the 17s.
37 now online:

Timed to make a combined 30 minute frequency on Sunday daytime with 38A from St Helens - unfortunately returning towards the Town Centre within minutes of each other but such is the nature of both these circulars.

Unfortunately just fails to connect with trains to/from both Liverpool & Wigan at St. Helens Central. Also some rather poor connections with some "out of town" bus services from St. Helens. Whilst a Sunday service is welcome on my local route, I fear that it may not attract a lot of passengers.
