Interesting development. Is there any spare capacity there as all of the Wirral and Netherton services use Sir Thomas Street and it is often grid-locked even at 'quiet' times? I presume the 15 will share the same stop as the 56, 58 and 139. Also, didn't the 75 (the 15's old number) use Sir Thomas Street as its terminus many moons ago?

The 15 serving that stop (VE?) on Victoria St is highly dangerous having to cross over 3 lanes immediately after leaving the stop, this is the reason Wallasey tunnel services don't call there. Buses serving Queen Sq have no need whatsoever to call at Sir Thomas St or the top end of Victoria St. Those parking spaces on the right hand side opposite stop VE could be used as a layover point for buses terminating at Queen Sq.

If there is a conflict between on-street car parking spaces and providing bus layover bays there is only going to be one winner. I have witnessed total gridlock in Sir Thomas as a result of inconsiderate motorists parking where they shouldn't. The bottom half of Sir Thomas Street should be Buses Only.

Queen square has 2 stands doing nothing now (9 & 12) some of the Sir Thomas St services could run from these now
Are these on the city-bound side of Queen Square
