I can see there being some confusion with this service at Birkenhead Bus Station - if people catch it going the wrong way, I cen't see people too happy about it taking nearly ah hour and a half to get to Liverpool.

Liverpool to Birkenhead via Birkenhead.. I guess it will display 'Birkenhead' as the destination which will no doubt cause people waiting for it by Asda to let it go past on the assumption that it isn't in service, at least until timetables get updated. Seems very odd this.

The Hamilton Square Argyle Street bus stops are going to be fun as the 423 will be going in the same direction to the terminus & via Arrowe Park which will cause confusion.
I can see Arriva eventually using different numbers eventually for different directions if it initially causes problem something along the lines of 423 Liverpool - Birkenhead and 424 Birkenhead - liverpool .
Don't think I've ever seen this on Merseytravel's website before!

I know Arriva, Stagecoach and Avon, and probably more, have agreed with Merseytravel to have changes on the same dates, the latest was this week, the next being late April
Think the april one is a merseytravel tender change date as well for some of there routes .
