Attempted pay talks today with Unite The Union have failed, the ECHO have confirmed the services that will not be running on the days of strike action (between June 13th and June 17th) - Some services will still run, albeit on special timetables between 6:30 and 19:30
Services not running: 10A, 14, 53, 82, 86/86C
Service running on special timetables: 17, 19, 20, and 21
Services running on request from LCR & Merseyside Police: 917 (coinciding with Taylor Swift concert)
It has been confirmed today that the planned strike action from Thursday (June 13th) to Monday (June 17th) has been called off following 'constructive' talks between Unite and Stagecoach.
Just curious, as the first of the three Taylor Swift concerts is tomorrow, and Stagecoach operating the shuttles from Sandhills and the city centre....will Gillmoss be using their normal allocation or are there vehicles coming from elsewhere for them as I assume demand for the shuttles will be high......
As far as I am aware it will be a regular Gillmoss allocation.

The improved pay offer has been rejected thus meaning strike action will commence on June 24th until the 26th.
Unite has announced further strike dates set for next month, these dates being July 5th to 8th, and July 12th to July 15th.
There is also the threat of an all-out continuous strike should Stagecoach not make a pay offer acceptable to it's members.

Sounds like its another summer of strikes but this time by Stagecoach and not Arriva.
Luckily Stagecoach (for now) continue with a reduced 17, 19 & 20/21 so its network in Kirkby still gets served by a few buses across Knowsley.
One of the CN09*** MANs is now seeing service at Gillmoss, I passed one on a school run at Haresfinch this afternoon
24157 was involved in an RTA this evening between a van, subsequently colliding with two residential properties in the process.
No serious injuries thankfully were reported.
