Thanks All
For the posts on 15590,should be out very soon
I'm not sure whether I have missed something here.......

I was in Liverpool on Wednesday 9th October and saw 15 of the 17 new 111xx Enviro double-decks.
11115 was on the 86C and 11101 - 12/16/17 ( 14 buses in all ) were all on the 10A which is the route for which I understand they were intended. I did not see 11113 nor 11114.

I went again yesterday Saturday 20th and again saw 15 missing 11103 and 11113.The curiosity this time is that not one was on the 10A. There were a couple on the 19 and one or two on the 20/21. All the others were on the 14 and 14A.

So two questions
Is there any sudden reason for a blanket ban on the new buses working the 10A?
Is 11113 in service?

Or is it all one great coincidence,

Thanks for any information.

As for 11113, possibly it "took ill" on the Monday night. I say this as I visited Liverpool on Monday (8th) and saw all 17 in service - all but one on the 10/10A.
As I understand, they are intentionally swapping them over at weekends (so the 16 plate MMCs do 10A) in order to see if there is any advantage on timings compared with the 18/68 reg batch.

Not aware of anything being wrong with 11113, I drove it a few weeks ago and as far as I know it is still out.

Back to previous requests about 15590, I've uploaded the photograph I took of that took earlier in the week.

That doesn't seem to make sense. Surely, if you are comparing different vehicles on "timings" you would need to do it with near identical traffic conditions predicted. eg. midweek
Fair point - The Sunday ones can get busier (in some ways) than the weekday ones though as there are fewer buses and the time (end to end) is shorter at weekends then it is on weekdays.

What's the problem? Is it that the new plates are geared down, on eco mode, the door safety device delay or the stop-start technology?

I have heard that the five Bootle Arriva MMC's are not popular with drivers,

That might explain why I only saw one of them (4694 iirc) during my visit a fortnight ago.
