Must be back on the road today then.
17549 another one from West Ham. Are these temporary loans or permanent?
Royale 16235 was in use yesterday evening on football service 919.
Forgot to post earlier, but 25231 was on the 10A in St. Helens on Wednesday (10 Dec.)
I seen 27905 in St Helens bus station earlier and noticed its exhaust pipe was significantly different from other Enviro300s, is that common to all Euro6 vehicles?
It looked rectangular in shape and appeared to have a metallic covering.

It is very common with Euro 6 buses. The metallic covering is a heat shield for the bodywork as the exhaust will get hotter than a Euro 5 model to the the regenerations of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) that's now standard fit to all Euro 6 buses - in cars that's not really an issue as the DPF is generally located just behind the engine, but as it's very close to the back with buses it's necessary.
StreetLites for Euro 6 have an additional grille on the nearside, as well as additional grilles in the bonnet (like 27905 does) to provide cool air for the DPF and exhaust system.
DPF is not the issue particularly, but the significantly higher combustion temperatures at euro 6 are.
