Yesterday however, I saw 3 or 4 in the evening peak which were carrying 10-12+ people in both directions. Also, laminated timetables and maps have appeared in bus stops along the route.

I saw about 15 boarding a mid-afternoon departure from L One yesterday that was just ahead of an Arriva 500. I really do think the limited stop section will have appeal for those who want a shorter journey time.
Just curious, why is it taking so long to get the Coastliners repainted? I would have expected them to have been in company livery by now rather than advertising a service 300 miles away!
They are getting done in their turn and are obviously needed for service, don't forget Enviro300s left when they arrived so they aren't extra buses.
Where have the coastliners come from?

They came from Stagecoach South Coastliner 700 where they were replaced by MMCs earlier this year.
