Just got the 500 from Queen Square to Birkenhead. The vehicle was Enviro300 27777 and it had 8 people on board at the time I used it. They're still not charging any fares.

The driver took his time and the journey was really smooth and calm, but he did kick everybody off the bus at Hamilton Square before returning to Liverpool out of service- is this correct? I know Ace used to run it as a circular route, is this Stagecoach's take on the service or the driver not clued up?

Great to see this service and the 501 continuing despite the circumstances.

there is another stop after Hammy Square, well its a request stop as theres no Bus Stop sign (outside the pub just before the roundabout where the Tunnel is) Not good that they are not observing that as thats where most of the Liverpool Bound Passengers where getting on when Ace Travel ran the service!

Yes thats where I usually get off. The driver got everybody off at Hamilton Square and went back empty and out of service, not sure whats going on there..

Might be worth bringing it up with the Depot as it is ment to go back to Liverpool in Service not out of Service

If you want Conway Street & stops to Wallasey you get the 501, if you want Hamilton Square you get the 500, if there is someone waiting at Hamilton Square the 500 should pick up. It's to stop people riding around from Liverpool to Birkenhead.

It is and its definately not in Gillmoss. Think it was 27771 out last night.

Interestingly 27150 was on 10A earlier.

I have seen the odd one of this batch on 10's on a Sunday before, still not had the pleasure of trying one yet as never have any reason to use the 17.
