To be fair the 53 is a QBP service and has a combined five-minute frequency. I also saw 47712 yesterday and, perhaps because it's half term, the whole service could have been operated by Solos. Until passengers are being left at the stop because buses are full there isn't a problem. As many people have posted in the past, a small bus is better than no bus.
Now the 10C has finished there is going to be that 1 spare Solo. 1 never got used last week when the schools were in, so as Barney said, the demand for a larger bus musnt be there so its getting used this week.

The 53 operates through Bootle, one of the most economically deprived areas in England. People only use buses when they need to - to get to work or school - and there aren't many who can afford to go on day or shopping trips in February. Believe me, all routes are much quieter during half-term.
34601 has been parked up here all day today.
Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse Urban 21262 on the X3 this morning.
Yet again there was a Solo on the 53, think it was 47712, either way a disgusting allocation
Probably never got filled once though. Versas dont even get half full during the day. It doesnt go out until the end of morning peak so its not out at the busiest time.
Looked packed when i saw it leaving Queen Square
36072 is parked up in Gillmoss as is 34600 which has had its Chester branding took off.
