Article in the Echo regarding persistant vandalism near to Kirkby Station

Latest repaint updates are 24170 is now repainted (by Rock Ferry though it isn't back at Gillmoss yet) and both 24176 & 24177 are getting prepared/repainted at Gillmoss too.

If anyone wants to see the newly repainted 24170, it is out today (10th July) for its first day out in the new livery on the 82

For those who haven't yet seen photos of either 24136 or 24170 in the new livery, here are some of each!

Former BeNiceBus 24136 PO59HYB - This has yet to go out in service as it has required modifications to the interior to refit it for service use but should be out soon

24170 PO59MXD has been out this week, 3 days of which have been on 217s to hopefully I can get some 'action' photos of it very soon!

24136 was repainted at Gillmoss, 24170 at Rock Ferry so they aren't identical. 24176 is being painted at Gillmoss too while 24177 is at Rock Ferry for repaint.

Had these Stagecoach repaints not had Stagecoach names or fleetnumbers, the colours would not have been out of place on an Arriva bus.

Enviro200s have been out in service today having been used primarily on staff buses recently.

36813 was on 17, 36821 didn't go out 36822 was on the 217/227 (photos will follow of that one!) and 36861 on the 82/86!

24176 is on the road again now repainted, 24136 is complete but hasn't yet been out but should soon.

I really agree , what was wrong with the Stagecoach livery , it was so will recognised alongside the two versions of the Arriva livery . Its like the finance department wanted something that was cheap and easy to do , the large expanse on the side of the vehicles being available for route branding exercises.

Such a dull dated looking livery. The old one was miles better.

24136, the former BeNiceBus, it out for the first time all year today on Liverpool ONE shuttle duties!

The next one in for repaint is 24179 - currently rubbed down in the paintshop at Gillmoss now.
