Steven Knight media reporting that the three MAN/Enviro200 that recently transferred from Midlands to Manchester (39690/1/3) are apparently to transfer to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancs....also 19038 & 183835 are going to Manchester and all remaining Dart's are being stood down and parked up at Wigan. 19031 reported yesterday as gone to Manchester too.

New timetable for the 86C from September. Service will now run all day Monday-Saturday with services operating half hourly after 6pm. Additionally, the Stagecoach night 86 service will become 86C and operate to Hope University

The extended running of the 86C and the re-routing of the night service to serve Hope University seems to make a lot of sense. When I were a lad in the early 1970's there was an excellent bus service to the campus and it was well used by the student population and this was in the era of pubs and bars shutting at 10.30. If Stagecoach promote these changes and the the freshers are made aware of this service when they arrive in a few weeks' time, I can see it being a great success.

There's an error on the 86C section of the timetable, the Monday to Friday evening section timetable has 86C terminating at Upper Parliament Street, Liverpool Women’s Hospital, & left out Liverpool One Bus Station, Saturday has the correct terminus Liverpool One.[Image: duh.gif]

Apparently 15586 was the Liverpool ONE spare bus so must have been swapped into service at some point to end up on 10A

Euro6 MAN 24174 is now back out on the road, repainted too, noted on the 86 earlier today.
