Next strike this Friday 28/4, i'll comment that so far the strikes have been on a three week cycle which means that a strike week will be during the open, I will more than likely be prooved wrong but it works out as weeks commencing 15/5, 5/6, 26/6, 17/7. apart from next Fridays date all the above is just conjecture

There is no Merseyrail strike planned for this Friday 28th. It's only Virgin Trains East Coast and Arriva Rail North who are.

Sorry I stand corrected.
Just for reference the following may be of interest. At the last open at Southport there were noted a total of 43 individual vehicles used five from Gillmoss or Preston, sixteen Enviro400 from Manchester, ten three axle Olympians? from Western Scottish and twelve from Aintree Coachlines. There were four different services from Esplansde P&R, Princess Park (though these tended to work together), Carr Lane playing fields, and Bedford Park. Aintree tended to work from Carr Lane, the Western Scottish from Esplanade/princess park with the others working from Bedford Park hope the above is of interest

Fleetnumber 91698 - Registration MV17COH - 6 passenger seats (two rows of 3 facing inwards) and 1 front row passenger seat and drivers seat!

This is used primarily on the Liverpool ONE shuttle runs for drivers but sees use as a normal shuttle sometimes too.

They have two 66 reg Hyundai i800 minibus vans, also in white, with SC logos and numbers, for the same shuttle runs too.
