Sounds hopeful they won't be returning to the X8, which will hopefully get some deckers long-term.

Is it known which buses are expected to leave Gillmoss (or Rock Ferry) when these double deckers enter service ?

We don't what depots they will be allocated to if what's being suggested is true and the X8 is going Double deck full time then Chester will get the equivilent numbers to replace the enviro 300s bear in mind some will be used to displace the Cambridge park and rides vehicles

No, but I would guess at the rest of the Darts for starters.......logically some MAN/Enviro300's would be next but we'll have to wait and see....

The X8 is not going double deck. (Current period of enhanced operation excepted)
21260 was on the 821 this morning, quite a surprise to see that pulling into Liverpool ONE at 0625 this morning vice a Dart/MAN Enviro300.
It would be logical for all 33 new deckers to be allocated to Gillmoss to convert routes 20/21 which suffer from desperate overcrowding.
