Next bus to be rubbed down for repaint is 27150

27148 is away getting repainted at Rock Ferry at present - 27144 came back last week and is in service in the new livery

That must be the one I saw on Sunday when passing GM when it was parked at the side of the depot where I could see a start had been made

27144 is on display at Liverpool ONE as part of a campaign launched today called 'Safer Streets Liverpool', focused on improving the safety of girls and women on public transport.

Here is a picture that I took this morning when it was on display.

Does anyone know if Gillmoss has contract with TfW to run a rail replacement bus.
The 1717 to Wrexham is shown as a bus from Skelhorne St and 24157 was waiting there when I passed shortly before 1700. Of course it may have been just resting there between normal duties!

24157 was probably on the Amazon contract that is operated by Gillmoss - it runs Skelhorne Street to Amazon Warrington via Edge Lane and Huyton.

I didn't ID which bus went out on it today but it was a single decker and the times roughly match when it should be there.

It is reported in The Guardian that Stagecoach have dropped its support for a merger with Nat Express, in favour of a take over by a German infrastructure fund called DWS Infrastructure, in a £595m deal.

Optare Solo 47335 PX06FYF is now in service on the Kirkby Circulars.

This has replaced 47331 PX06FYB which is now in reverse
