Just to correct this it's 27770-3 (
thanks to busguy12) and not 27701-3/27770. Apologies for any confusion
Dart 34803 PX55EGY is on the 217/227 tonight
That's the first time in a while, to be fair these darts are in a far better condition than Arrivas were at the same age, admittedly a few things are different.
I believe the same one went out the other week too but can't confirm that but tonight the driver sent me a photo of it at Halewood!
To be fair, if its fit and able I don't see any reason why not, there are buses a lot newer that are far worse than those darts. Not necessarily stagecoach buses but still.
I've driven all five of the current available ones, 34743, 34803, 34808, 34814 & 34820 on the 204 over the last few months or so and they are all quite good, especially when you consider their ages. Few rattles here and there but certainly decent buses - 34803 especially only got repainted last year so is the smartest one of the lot.
What buses are Stagecoach likely to use when they take over routes 136 and 235 and what is the PVR of the routes please?
PVR is just 1 as 136 & 235 don't operate at the same times, the one bus does one or the other.
I expect it'll get a Solo allocated to it but not 100% sure just yet.
With the arrival of Coastliner Scanias (and ex-Wigan/Fife Volvo B9TLs) and departure of Enviro 300s, it looks like GM will be all double-deck apart from inevitable Dart or Solo routes.
The B9s are not for Gillmoss
