3 more 24 hour RMT strikes announced.27 October.3 + 10 November
I was sort of expecting this. Someone quoted on another forum that the union plans to strike every Saturday up to Christmas and they tend to announce them in bunches of three about a fortnight beforehand.

I think you'd be better off writing the station names. You've used the station codes for Reddish North, Pickering and LPL isn't a valid one!
Lime Street is LIV
Piccadilly is MAN and Pickering is not a Network Rail station.

Pickering still has a code as you can buy through train and bus tickets to Pickering from National Rail stations, similar to Liverpool Airport.
Reported in the Branchline News that for May 2019 Northern are now bidding for a Chester-Altrincham service in place (I assume) of the Piccadilly-Greenbank trains, and that Blackpool-Macclesfield.s will go to Hazel Grove instead, and Macc won't get its second stopper.
;
So who told them the franchise commitment was workable?

Contained in TfN's notes from last Tuesday's meeting that Network Rail have said there's a lack of paths between Stockport and Manchester, despite having just built the Ordsall Chord and diverted a number of services away from Slade Lane Junction to free up capacity for extra services between Stockport and Manchester. Something needs to be done otherwise millions has been spent on the Ordsall Chord and the only benefit will be Buxton gets an additional hourly service to Manchester, something it wasn't even promised!
