As is 319372
An interesting unit in service is 150209 which is formed of 57209 and 57212 neither of which has toilets. These two carriages have for many years operated on Great Western as the middle part of a three car unit. Lately they operated in 150925/26. The original 52209 and 57212 were damaged beyond economic repair after accidents at Thirsk (I think) and St Helens Central.
The new 150209 is operating on the Rochdale to Blackburn service with a 153 obviously for toilet facilities. At the moment it is 153316.
Further to the above 150209 derailed at St Helens Central on 11th November 1988 and struck a bridge overbutt. The driver died and 16 passengers were injured. 150212 struck an engineers crane by Seamer West Signal Box on 15th December 1987.
331001 was visible yesterday at Edge Hill Depot yesterday. It is currently next to the main line as you pass on the train.
170478 has ventured onto the Leeds to Doncaster route this evening.
Mass Northern cancelations again tomorrow - no Liverpool-Blackpool services, with Manchester trains stopping at Euxton and Leyland - slightly oddly they have amended schedules slow line but without the stops, Southport-Blackburn trains not running between Wigan and Victoria, no Dalesrail or Heysham trains.
;
Could be quite cosy in and out of Blackpool as the Victoria services cancelled due to Bolton line block.
Liverpool-Warrington BQ services seem to have resumed today with cl.323s. Most appear to shunt into P4 to return rather than leave down the up slow.
323237 is on Liverpool - Crewe also
Sounds like the diagrams that were originally intended that work across both Manchester - Crewe services alongside Liverpool - Bank Quay services.
