Northern aren't planning to operate any train services on the Mid-Cheshire line at all on Saturday and only plan to operate 3 replacement buses in each direction. A number of retailers and other facilities like leisure centres will definitely be short of staff unless that changes.

And according to Northern the RMT agreed to partake in ACAS medicated talks but have now announced 3 further strike dates instead of arranging the talks.

Northern traincrew shortages again on Sunday - no mention of the Southport trains terminating at Wigan Wallgate, but Real Time Trains has VAR schedules suggesting they will.

Also no trains between Altrincham and Manchester tomorrow but no mention on that Northern link.

That's incorrect according to RTT - they start at teatime, before which there are no trains at Stockport due to planned engineering work apart from Virgin trains which are shown to terminate in p.3 and go back from p.4, which I believe is not possible.
There's a lot of criticism of Northern's decision to use minibuses for rail replacement buses yesterday on Twitter.
Strike timetables on the Northern website for this Saturday. Looks like the lower level of service for strike days is going to be the norm.
