319450 is operating the Picc > Airport shuttle today.
319456 is now in the new Northern livery.
It was taken yesterday by 47812 from Wolverton to Loughborough by 47812 no doubt for FLEX conversion.

Interesting, I wonder if it has any work done internally. The original plan was that nothing would get the new livery without a refurb, will be interesting to see.

Also, I was having a good look at 319361 the other day, the seating layout has been altered in the DTS cars. In the DTS "A" the 2 plus 2 seats have been replaced with 2 plus 3 and in DTS "B" the bench seats have gone in favour of ordinary seats.

I haven't seen it myself, but I believe the seat layout in the PMS of at least 319363 has changed, under the pan, at least one bay of seats has been replaced with seats arranged in rows "airline" style.

Strike also announced for VTEC on the same day over the role of guards. Expect Merseyrail and Southern to follow unless the RMT reach an agreement with the TOC (unlikely.)

I did add the story about the VTEC strike on East Coast thread.
Richard Allan Deputy MD at Northern:
"There is a lot to discuss and we urge RMT to get back round the table with an open mind as soon as possible. In addition to protecting jobs and current pay, we are also willing to offer future, annual pay reviews for existing conductors if we can agree a deal with RMT."
It has been a pretty bad morning for Northern today with yet more train faults. There is a DMU on the bank quay service, another Cheshire lines service has been short formed and I am told that a 319 has failed....
