I wouldn't count on it. The Northern website says the emergency timetable runs to 31 July, and seems to overlook further changes to services already affected by the Lime Street blockade.
It would appear that alterations are only being loaded for the following week at present.
Does anybody know if the bus timetables are still available for Huyton-Lime St?

I have seen one but can I find it again

All plans quashed now as RMT have called a strike on this day now.
Despite 165 planned cancellations they are still managing to short form.
Northern have added in a 22:45 Chester to Manchester service this Sunday so people can get home from the Paloma Faith gig at Delamere Forest. However, had they implemented the TSR2 Sunday enhancements (due in December 2017) that service would have existed in the timetable anyway!
For a trip to Leeds on june 23rd i did consider booking Northern Rail advance tickets via Hebden Bridge. As it would have been as slow as National Express I booked the coach instead. Just as well now that there is another Northern Rail strike.

I thought any Saturday strikes were at times of clear disruption eg the Grand National or a Bank Holiday weekend, rather than such a "random" Saturday.
Reported by Chris Cowly.

150138 has returned to Newton Heath in new Northern livery and has been replaced at Crewe by 150116.
