Northern Connect services were never planned for December 2018 and therefore pushed back to May 2019 were they?

The original plan was two timetable recasts - December 2017 and December 2019. The idea was new and additional services like Chester to Leeds would start at the December 2017 timetable change and get upgraded to Northern Connect status - which includes station improvements as well as rolling stock improvements, with all 12 Northern Connect routes running as such by December 2019 - .

I'm pretty sure at one stage Northern were saying Manchester Airport to Blackpool, Man Airport to Cumbria and Chester to Leeds would be upgraded to Northern Connect during 2018. While routes like Bradford to Liverpool, which are only be introduced at December 2019, would be Northern Connect from the outset.
RMT have just announced three more strike dates which are the 2nd, 9th & 16th February.
Still no sign of Northern timetable for May in RTT - the only other franchised TOC missing is Virgin.
;
I wonder if there are some negotiations going on with Virgin to adjust their trains to get closer to the franchise commitment?

Northern's track access application had a consultation closing date of mid Jan.
That doesn't always reflect what NR offer. Virgin has now appeared and no obvious change.
Northern have actually managed to run the Preston-Hellifield Dalesrail today
