For anyone else wondering where the 769 has turned up, it's the Great Central at Loughborough - photos on railforums.

I have seen a report on rail forums that electric trains through Bolton are not now due to run until next May.

I hope this electrification is still on for December.

Network Rail cannot confirm an electrification completion date so Northern are planning on the presumption Bolton corridor services will be DMU operated but if electrification is complete before May 2019 they can start switching DMUs for EMUs.

Unloaded yesterday afternoon at Quorn & Woodhouse. It appears to be 769434 although the number has been obscured.
