Pretty sure it wasn't for the 3 proposed Merseytram lines, was more of "project/Demonstrator" that never happened and was tested in Birkenhead and Blackpool.
This is indeed the very same tram which caught itself on fire and was rebuilt to a slighly more "attractive" look and recived a new interior. (Its still tremendously ugly!)

Thanks for the confirmation Reece. With only seeing the rebult end, I couldn't tell.
You missed 725 LJ51!
What appeared to be 2213 is also out on 352/395 runs this afternoon.
710 just departing st helens on a 352 fully loaded as ot left the bus stn
7560/61/63/70 along with the wretched 2328 are the latest withdrawals parked up joining 2273 across lanes 1 and 16 which seem to be the new withdrawal areas while the back yard is as full as it is!
I think 710 appearing on the 352's this afternoon is a bus change, as i am fairly certain 710 was in the depot at around 2pm.
I saw 710 on the 352 myself, also two Pulsars on the 329 (2697 and 3024), is this normal now?

710 went back out on the 17.25 352 as well.
Regarding the 329, I've also noted somewhat of an allocation change of late - there had seemed to be a significant number of Cadets on there with there being a few days over the last 2 weeks with Cadets making up the entire allocation. However, I have noted a few lone Pulsars myself. I suppose with the allocation of Darts shrinking as it has done, we can only but expect to see allocation changes such as this!
theres a duty on the 352 that comes out the garage at about 15:15 so im assuming its that one as i think it does 2 or 3 trips then runs in.
