Could be anything. I suspect they've just been more loosely allocated as opposed to anything mechanical though as I've noted a few on 620s, 32/As and 33s this week. Indeed 2493 was noted working a 33 this morning. That said, if they're appearing on early 32/As and 33s, it could be that they're on the split duties which come off early for non-essential maintenance. I'm not sure how many are being allocated onto 329s at the moment too?
Makes somewhat of a nice change though, certainly enjoyed a couple of the Darts on there this week (did I really just admit to that!?).
From what I've seen this week I've only seen cadets on the 329. Last couple of weeks before this have seen a little bit more variety on there mind.
I agree with you, even though the cadets provide a better ride (well most of them), its nice to ride some darts for a change!
2496 was on a 34/A too today too and I've seen one on the 31 yesterday too
2493 was on 34/34A yesterday - was a good fast bus especially along Pennington Lane yesterday afternoon. 2261 was on the same duty this afternoon - another fast bus although have to disagree with previous comments regarding the Urban 90's - still find them very uncomfortable.
According to form more "X" reg cadets are expected to replace some remaining T*** PNB darts but nothing said on whats replacing the marshalls.

2416 looks now to be here. Currently parked at the front of lane 3(I think) fresh out of the paint shop displaying 10 Liverpool via Prescot on the destination.

I couldn't disagree more I'm afraid. Full size vehicles are wasted on there; the 320 does sufficiently well between St Helens and Ashton as far as capacity goes and 1 trip each way a day just doesn't justify a full B44F vehicle being on there all day. I'd actually be surprised to hear that the Solo struggled yesterday. Probably filled up between St Helens and Ashton but I doubt there were any problems past that.
Cadet 2421 has managed to escape for another night out this evening making an appearance on the 37/38/356 late board. A very nice bus by all accounts, just a rattly rear destination cover over rougher roads. Oh and that back row, it's horrendous.
i got the 1:20pm 620 yesterday to have a look for myself, decent load until platt bridge, noticed a few people was on for hindley and hindley green, not that many but more than normal so the service has slightly improved

Out on 320s by late afternoon.
