2489 was on the 10A that day so im guessing it was that.
Further new arrivals are:
4599 SL64 JFF
4600 SL64 JFG
4601 SL64 JFJ
2 deckers are at the front of the depot familiarising drivers with them.
You would now think that Arriva have invested money on the 10/10A corridor that it was time for the other half of the partnership to put there hand in the pocket and do something as well.

Indeed, well in the way of deckers anyway. Don't see it happening though.

This was mentioned to Stagecoach on Twitter a few days ago and they replied saying they have no plans to put double deckers on in the near future. Bear in mind they haveninly recently invested in Enviro300s, they will need to make profit back off them before they invest in more.
I do think that if both companies on the 10A used deckers it may be a case of overkill and Stagecoach's use of single deckers is probably the most efficient use of resources to meet demjand once Arriva's come on stream.
You cant forget that Green Lane have also got deckers for the 10B on the same corridor. So im sure Stagecoach using single deckers on 10A/C will be fine
Mr souter wont be bothered about putting deckers on his 10A as his just profited £5.5 million off the 10/10A by selling deckers to arriva to put on that route.
Yeh MM a very canny businessman indeed.
