Although its sad to see the scania's withdrawn as they are a nice vehicle to drive its good that st.helens seems to be becoming a all low floor depot, can only mean less complaints.
It's nice as well that some investment is being brought in again with the imminent arrival of the Optares
Sure is, nice to see St.Helens getting some new fleet, better than the fleet we had when i was there. Theem lovely Plaxton b6's and 6500's
1042 was on 89 this morning but been swapped onto a 20 to vista
Seems likely it was put on from the 20 to cover a late running 1042 on there.
7650 on the 89! think this was on the 32 this morning
It states in the latest edtion of Bus Fayre that 1052, 1058, 1060 & 1061 have been sold on to North West Bus Sales (dealer), Bolton, and all were quickly resold to Ripley (breaker), Carlton. This confims the fate of 1052 which I know has been queried here recently.
whos ripley? never heard of them before
ripleys are another scrapyard in Barnsley. Used bus sales is the place were the 103x scanias went as well as the 53xx ones
