3026 was broken down just short of Prescot this evening St Helens bound on the 10A. Fitter was in attendance and the bonnet was open.
On another note, 2704 was on the 10A this evening. It was St Helens bound so presumably booked off upon arrival.
If it wasn't noted back out again, it could also have been on a running board that wasn't down to go out any later and therefore ran back to the garage upon arrival anyway!
Forgot to note 3023 broken down Last Sunday on the 352 at Orrell Church St approx time united liverpool game kickedoff driver seen on phone hanging round the rear of the bus.
Also on Wednesday 3023 driver drove past me at a stop on the 2nd to last working on the 352.
My Mrs said she saw an Arriva bus with two smashed windows at the roundabout at the M57 at Prescot, she said it came from the Prescot end and had an St Helens player in the window so it has to be a St Helens bus, she didnt catch which one it was as she was driving.
Either one if the branded Renowns or 1 of 2698/2699 then.
Bit of an odd day on the 329 today with no cadets on there. 2706/2707 and 2209 making up the allocation today
I have to say though, it's been a Renown every time I've seen it recently with the exception of 1 Cadet last week!
Cadets are still the majority of the allocation. Pretty much every day 2 out of the 3 is a cadet. There has been a few more renowns on there lately. Can't say I'm complaining as they are ideal for the route.
I'd agree with the Renowns being a better allocation. I think that, ideally, they should be split over the 89 and the 329 with the remaining 4 being allocated to the 34/A.
One thing I forgot to note earlier was SR 711 on a daytime 37/38 board this afternoon in place of a Cadet.
I Have noticed some SRs have slipped through the net and are being used for the 89.
