2238 is on 34/34A this afternoon and I have to say it is another rattlebox.

Its an X-ANC, what do you expect.
As I've said before, the St Helens batch (possibly with the exception of 2209 at the moment?) of X-ANCs are actually solid buses. Smooth ride and minimal rattles whenever I've ridden them.

To be honest i have not been on a St Helens one for ages, but i can judge on the GL & Bootle ones, most of which are shake rattle & roll.
2416 on the 10A this evening, noted leaving St Helens at 5.15.

2212 is quite a bad ride at the moment or at least it has been when I have ridden it. It is very sluggish compared to others and quite rattly.
Remember the state of the roads, they bring out the worst in the newest of buses ;-)
2209 broke down in Leigh Bus Station this morning. Driver said it wouldn't start, so was stranded until some rescue from JS could get there.
Thunderbirds they are not :-)
