According to the AboutMyArea Neston Website there are Diversions today on the route 22 between Moreton And Chester.
Buses can't call At Neston Cross Or Parkgate Due to Neston Ladies Day beteeen 12:30 And 18:00 Buses will go into Neston Via Liverpool Road, Ladies Walk, Raby Road, Raby Park Road And Breezehill Road then going Normal again on the route To Chester

I had problems yesterday with the 88 From Parkgate As the 18:12 To West Kirby Never showed up and when the 19:12 Turned up I asked the driver why the one before didn't turn up and the driver said they are short on bus drivers at the moment
That would explain the mega recruitment drive for drivers. A lot of drivers are throwing the same advert on Facebook.
The last 144 on Saturday night didn't show up for me.
On Sunday 28th of May the 293 From Woodside Bus Station at 14:38 was ment to go to West Kirby But For Some Reason Only Went to Arrowe Park Forcing me to wait another hour even though it was timetabled to go to West Kirby.
I wonder why the bus driver didn't go all the way To West kirby

I was told by a bus driver that worked for Avon That they are Short Staffed that's why there's probably no 492 tonight

I've heard they have a rather large driver shortage at the moment, a huge majority jumping ship to Arriva. Both the 1329 and 1529 service 22 departures from Chester have been cancelled during various days over the last week due to 'staffing issues'.

I have heard the same myself, Avon might be best handing a couple of tenders back as things are clearly getting bad
