That's twice this week there's been a non-standard allocation there. Is one of the regular MCVs down at the moment?
Avon's new timetables from 8/9 July for service 83/A and 86/87 are now online .

The 83 is now rerouted via Oxton Road and the 83A is still operating via Borough Road .

The saturday service on the 83 has been withdrawn.

A new service 81 is being introduced to partly replace the Saturday route 83. No details available yet.

On the 86/87 there is just some slight tinkering with the timetables nothing really major .

Think Avon need to look again at Saturday evening from Arrowe Park Hospital on there service 80 as there looks to be a 2 and a half hour gap between the daytime service ending and the evening service starting on the 80.

Its not helped by the 1756 from Woodside service terminating at Arrowe park Hospital after its trip around the Woodchurch estate at 1833 , if this service continued on back to woodside there would be an hour and a half gap then.
Also, route 84/5 are merged (as of 8th July) and now Starts at Heswall as usual, terminating somewhere in Raby. Its the usual route to Clatterbridge from Heswall, then running the 84 straight from there to Mill Park before continuing on through Raby. Thats what the driver said today anyway, but never said where the terminus is exactly!
The terminus is raby drive / blakeley road.
It will use lawns avenue - raby avenue - raby drive - blakeley road to turn round

If that is true could find the owners of the properties in that area making it a bit awkward for a bus , bad enough when they had the protest from the owners of Blakeley Road .
Timetable for the new 84/5 now on merseytravel website.
Seems a more straightforward route for people to understand than the current one
I was sitting in the garden of the Wheatsheaf in Ness enjoying a pint earlier, when a Spryte went by on the last Chester-Heswall. I didn't catch the whole registration but it was either 821 or 841 "Tick".
