Im now not understanding at all any of the logic of the timetable alterations that Avon have done recently , it seems that every route they have got has been split back up and most interwork with each other in some form or another anyway.
You have the 77 now back to its original route Birkenhead - Heswall , its extension goes back to the 82/82A original route number between Heswall - West Kirby via Caldy .
You have the 83/83A which was original a Birkenhead - West Kirby circular and the route numberage allowed you to know which way round the circle the bus went , this route has changed more times than hot dinners , wish they would stick with one version of it , remember the route 17 extension , which didnt work out .
The 84 and 85 have been split the 84 is now a Raby Mere via Bromborough to Clatterbridge service , the 85 really does bcome the dead beat section of this run now through the fields of Thornton Hough on its route between Clatterbridge and Heswall.
The 86 now only runs between Mill Park and Heswall and the 87 between Eastham Ferry and Heswall , the section beyond Heswall to West Kirby is now in the hands of the 88 which runs between West kirby and Heswall .
I do hope you are keeping up , im really surprised that the other routes that operate havent been changed or does that wait for about another 6 to 8 weeks whilst these bed in.
I know im being critical but some look like changes for changes sake , or is this the start of some routes being withdrawn or handed back to Merseytravel and that only the lucrative parts will be kept .
