I think the link to West Kirby will be greatly appreciated from the line of route of the 17/17A .

I think Avon were looking to see if they could get a little bit more end to end traffic .

What I dont see the point in operating is the 18 and could this detaching be the beginning of the end of that route and the vehicles being used to enhance another corridor .
Ive only been on the 17 once since its been changed and when i got on at Moreton Cross i was the only person on the bus...

Also i thought that it was going to serve Birkenhead again because this was on VOSA the other week

Variation Accepted by SN: Operating between Clatterbridge Hospital and Moreton Cross/ Birkenhead given service number 17/17A effective from 29-Oct-2012. To amend Timetable.
Have been trying to decipher what the amended timetable is , as merseytravel dont seem to have altered the timetable just yet it could just be a mid journey timing alteration.
There's notices on the buses.
It's one morning trip that will run 10 mins earlier to cater for the large number of girls that travel from hoylake / meols to upton village.

It was a problem that was probably only noticed after the timetable was published , but does make the published timetable incorrect on the merseytravel website . Does this particular run 10 mins earlier throughout ?
Yeah, with an 11 min drop back at clatterbridge
Avon have the Primo out on the 183/184 today , quick little thing is it!
First time I've heard of anything other than an MCV Evolution on it, however the Primo did run at least one of the driver route learning runs which I sadly didn't manage to get a photo of!

Shame I didn't see that out today either, I've only ever been one one Plaxton Primo ever!
If I remember rightly Steve they did have three of them but I got talking to one of the Avon Drivers and he mentioned a wire or something along the lines had came out they sent two back but there not a bad bus tbf! Just wish they would have had a little more comfier seats in
Don't think it's been mentioned,
MCV 507 suffered nasty back end damage on Saturday when an arriva cadet on the 413 ran into the back of it, on woodchurch road, close to sainsburys
