Why don't Miserytravel issue emergency tenders until either Avon can recruit staff or the September review becomes active?
Just down to this now:

Avon 235 Services - Due to operational difficulties the following Avon 235 services will not operate today - 1748 Netherton - Dingle/ 1840 - Liverpool - Dingle
It's been bad enough this last few days with the amount of known cancellations but now though, the amount of cancellations is changing by the minute. I wonder what the loadings are like today on those journeys previously marked as cancelled but are now reinstated.
I find it hard to believe anyone checks Merseytravel's website before they go out for their bus, so suspect no effect whatsoever.

Maybe it's a call to Merseytravel, Avon or Traveline before they leave the house
I hope that's what drivers have advised customers, not just wait and see

Appears to be most of the evening service on the 144 today cancelled at the moment.
I suspect most normal customers don't know Traveline exists and do Avon really have a phone line that gets answered out of hours?
Avon has staff in 24 hours, 7 days a week
