I meant in regards to the 23 being withdrawn, it baffles me why the 86/87 is being withdrawn.
From Merseytravel:

"Wirral 83A services from Birkenhead Bus Station - Due to a vehicle shortage the 0900 & 1100 83A departures from Birkenhead Bus Station will not operate this morning."
Whilst the 23 runs around carrying fresh air! I know what service I would have pulled
18 timetable changes from 23rd April sees the 06.26 & 06.31 journeys from Moreton to Liverpool withdrawn but replaced by a 07.18 journey from Moreton to Liverpool, that's going to create a few problems as passengers do use the 06.26 Moreton to Birkenhead & Liverpool, & i've used it myself to connect with trains at Lime Street departing between 07.10 & 07.30.

Why do they keep swapping and changing! It is so annoying
The services from the Wirral are there just to fit the timetable of the Liverpool services , when the Liverpool services change the cross river connectors will change.
Double decker 173 very unusually on Wirral route 18 today
Never knew Avon had acquired ex First ALX 400's
Have you got any photos or regs?
