As regards to councillors i think one was going mad on Twitter to Merseytravel before
Looking through VOSA a fair few of Avons services are actually partly funded, I am assuming by Merseytravel, the ones I can see are 16/17etc, 84, 122, 135/235 (daytime), 10/10A, 91/92, 82, 77/77A, 90, 88/88A, 202/204

Other registrations such as the 18, 22, 57 164/165 and some others are not partly funded
A good majority started life as tendered routes , which they ran as tenders until they lost the route and rather than lose them they made them commercial .

The one service that stands out from that is the 16/17 which they only operate Monday to Friday , the Saturday was originally a Happy Al's service which Arriva eventually took on.

I remember when Happy Als ran the 10/10A, I think originally being numbered 310 and 311, before Avon took them over

Yes it was 211, 310 & 311 with Happy Als
Another was 177 now 77 that Happy Als and Raddoneur had

Same with 90 it used to be 190 with A1A Travel and Raddoneur
Timetables for the new 10, 17, 84, 88, 124, 145, 492 in September now online
Darts 102, 251 and 821 are withdrawn from service
Are these getting replaced?

Admittedly these timetables won't mean much of the buses don't even turn up.
Note its the 84 Heswall - Raby Mere and 85 Heswall - Eastham Ferry in the timetable now.
