If it were to happen, wonder how many of HTL'S contracts Avon would make commercial as they done that quite often in other areas where they operate.
Forgot to say I saw the same Dart (it looked) being towed up Wavertree Road towards town at half past midnight on Wednesday night.
Expensive couple of weeks for them.

Very unusual sighting today of Spryte 822 on the 122!
Is Avon particular what typre of vehicle is used on certain routes or is the fleet more like common user after the vehicles that are probably allocated to the Moreton - Chester service .

From what I've noticed, there does seem to be a tendency for certain groups of vehicles to be on certain routes.

883 usually has 12-reg ADLs on it
23 tends to have the two Volvo/Presidents
202 most often seems to have Caetano Darts or 52- or 54-reg Pointer Darts

It's a while since I've made frequent observations on the Wirral, but from past observations:
85, 77, 90 (and whatever else they run on to) usually have shorter (29') vehicles on them
22 used to be mostly 10.8m Evolutions
So when you look at all the services introduced in liverpool for Merseytravel , that the main casualty was the Wirral 86/87.

I do not see the logic of the 88 being extended beyond HeswallBus station from West Kirby , but now there is no interconnecting service for it to run onto at Heswall , this was the next best thing , i fear , this will run with fresh air between Heswall and Neston.
Beechway in Spital has had a few of the rough patches worked on over the last few days , causing the service 17 to divert via Three Stags and Stanton Road. Stanton Road was the road that caused the original 17 operated by First to operate via Beechway in the first place as First was saying that the speed cushions and flat tops where damaging the under side of there Optare Solos.
Double decker 173 was on the 10/10A on Thursday
