Sometimes services take time to build passenger numbers just look at the X8.
Imperia started the 39 New Brighton to West Kirby which resulted in arriva introducing the 414 Arrowe Park- New Brighton and also the 98 to Liverpool.

I personally think the West Kirby - Hoylake - Meols stretch could do with a direct Liverpool Service especially with the current rail replacement work in the rails ! I'm surprised no one has thought about a 438 !

It's only Avon now that's left to try different routes. As Arriva and Stagecoach seem happy with Status Quo.

Arriva & Stagecoach are no longer so happy with Status Quo since Rick Parfitt died. HammerLaugh
Ex Stagecoach 04 plate dart out on the 10 this morning
Has anything been Withdrawn now this is in Service
Nimbus 402 was on the 23 yesterday in place of B7 173 (as 174 was on there).
New timetables for some April changes on Merseytravel. The 23, 86 and 87 are withdrawn, whilst the lates and Sunday 88 is extended via Parkgate to Neston
I can not keep up with the tinkerings that Avon do there routes , if an enthusiast cant keep up with them , what are the passengers thinking.
I can't believe anyone in their right mind would have thought the 23 would work! Also think the 91/92 alterations are struggling! They have missed off large parts of the Oxton routes that the 93 covered which worked well! Crazy decisions
The thing with the 23 is scotland road and walton leading upto the blackbull as too many frequent bus services running through there.
Stagecoach running a bus through there every couple of minutes and arriva throwing a bus through every 15 or so minutes just doesn't leave enough custom for another service that runs half hourly.
Exactly! So it was a strange decision to even try
